Oh this one is going to be FUN…grab some popcorn!
For a few months this 2008 Chevy Suburban V8 had been giving the owner grief: intermittently going into “LIMP MODE” after going over some bumps.
Then it REFUSED TO CRANK until the wires were wiggled near the TCM and ECM.
Finally, even the “Wiggling” wouldn’t help…he towed it to his local shop…
The shop had it for 4 MONTHS…ECM and TCM were replaced, and they even removed the ENTIRE ENGINE WIRING HARNESS and “OHM-CHECKED” EACH PIN!! WOW!!
Owner finally towed it to PHAD and dumped it in my yard…
Now we have a BIG BEACHED WHALE situation, with a DEAD Battery and potentially MORE PROBLEMS built in from the previous repair attempts…
Let’s start from scratch, see if we can get all of the modules ONLINE, and go from there…
